That describes my
Grandma
when she’s making
treats.
She holds me tight
when she
whispers wisdom in my
ear.
That’s just one
reason
I’m glad she’s here.
I listen intently
when she
tells a story.
She’s in the
spotlight.
She’s in the glory.
I look at her with
the
Kitten in her lap
and the dog sniffing
her ear and I
know that she knows
our fear
Now it’s her birthday
and I’m going to
remind
Her . . . . . . .

To us . . . for just
